![]() ![]() No matter how many times I power it off, or try to boot it by holding down power and volume up, or by holding volume up as I plug it in, this doesn't change.Įdit: I did eventually get this fixed, but I had to go through OnePlus support. The name of the device stays the same, but when I open up MSMDownloaderTool V3.0.2 it goes through " Open Serial device / Start downloading Firehose Binary", and then gets stuck at " Sahara Communication Failed£¬Please try again after power off phone". After plugging in the device it shows as " Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (COM4)", and no matter what driver package I download and try to install, they all fail because " this driver is already on the latest version", even after making sure I'm using the correct drivers and installing the Test Certificates and booting the PC with Driver Signature Disabled. ![]() I have attempted multiple methods of recovery, most of which seem to be the same method copied and pasted but slightly edited. Doesn't boot at all, not even to fastboot. I stupidly thought that I could continue the update by manually flashing it in TWRP, which has caused the device to hard brick completely. ![]() This caused the device to no longer boot into system. ![]() I allowed the OTA updater to install the 4.1 update without knowing that OTA updates break if TWRP is installed. ![]()
